In Lieu of Scribbling...

Something in the way of a valid post to this blog is definitely overdue. I seem to be too busy living "le tragicomedy" to actually chronicle it. Such reasoning essentially appears to be (but is not entirely!)just another transparent excuse for being rather lazy In the meantime, here's a link to a talented photographer with whom I worked a couple of years ago.

If you go to the "works" page you can see his great photography, including works 10 through 14 which together represent shots from a spoof of wedding magazines thought up by the photographer, Shinya Aizawa. Thanks to my friend Mark, I was invited to join in the fun.... The spoof mag is called "Divorce," and the cover promises to give an insider's look at the ins and outs of divorce; different types of divorce -- including my personal favourite -- narita-kon -- divorce at the (Narita) airport; advice on such topics as whether to yahoo auction your wedding dress or just recycle it, how to use your pc or cell phone email to schedule alimony payments; tips on with whom to have an affair (talk to your wedding planner or dj!) and suggestions for how to get the most bang for your alimony buck ("take a trip around the world using alimony!"). There's no actual text within -- just pics that tell one couple's story...
